Our Trust
The Partnership Trust is a diverse family of schools committed to enhancing the outcomes for children and young people, through excellent teaching and learning opportunities supported by strong partnerships and a collaborative culture.
With a footprint spanning Bath & North East Somerset, and Somerset, our Multi-Academy Trust includes special schools, first schools, primary schools, and specialist provision. We do not seek to make all schools the same, instead celebrating the unique characteristics, heritage and community of each one.
"Education is at the heart of everything that we do at The Partnership Trust."
Education is at the heart of everything that we do at The Partnership Trust. We came into being to offer all children and young people access to education of the highest standard and to enable them to flourish academically, socially, mentally and physically; supporting them to fulfil their potential and thrive in the next phase of their education or life. We seek to actively counter disadvantage and to increase social mobility for the children in all of our schools. By combining high-quality teaching with the widest possible range of opportunities, we strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
"...schools are supported through strong and flexible shared services..."
By being part of a Multi-Academy Trust, schools are supported through strong and flexible shared services and a robust, effective and transparent governance system, allowing them to focus on teaching and learning. Within our Trust School Improvement Team, we have a wide range of experience and expertise. Working together with teams of specialists across the Trust, we are able to create bespoke school improvement packages.

Each of our schools benefits from a close relationship with the Trust School Improvement Team, particularly their appointed ‘Leadership Partner’ who provides important support. Whilst each school retains oversight of their own day-to-day management, through being part of a Multi-Academy Trust they are supported by, and operate within, the shared values and commonly agreed practices of The Partnership Trust.
"our staff benefit from robust support from colleagues within our Multi-Academy Trust. "
With a firm belief that every employee, regardless of their role, contributes to the quality of the children’s learning experience, our staff benefit from robust support from colleagues within our Multi-Academy Trust. We have a strong belief in professional development and run CPD both internally and externally through our partnership with the Five Counties Teaching School Alliance. As a Trust, we believe very strongly that, to ensure that we do not become inward looking, we should support and seek opportunities to work with others outside of our own Trust, and encourage all our staff to do likewise.
In addition, we are commissioned by Bath & North East Somerset local authority to run the Hospital Reintegration Services (HERS), and the Specialist Autism Support Service (SASS). The Finding Futures specialist college provides work-based programmes and support for young people with SEND and Autism.
